Both versions can be purchased in print or eBook either through this website or through a Pearson re-seller. Institutions can purchase larger quantities through a Pearson Sales representative.
Test takers can either purchase a printed course or an eBook, which include access to Digital Resources and a Question Bank.

The Teacher version includes a printed book or an eBook, as well as Digital Resources and a Question Bank on the Pearson English Portal. Teachers can see all the resources available to test takers and also access extra tips, teaching notes and lesson planning tools.
Teacher access to the Question Bank also gives teachers the ability to create class groups, assign practice questions and check student progress.
The Teacher guide is only available for the PTE Academic test.
The Official Guide Question Bank includes 300 new and authentic test questions, across all of the task types. Test takers can practice their skills and check tips and sample answers as they study.
The Question Bank covers the four main skills: speaking, reading, listening, and writing.
Each skill area in the bank has practice tasks for each of the task types in PTE Academic or PTE Core, to help you practice with content similar to what you will see in the real test.
There is no limitation on the number of attempts you can make. You can access your online materials and re-do the tasks at any point during the 24-month validity of your product.
However, you can only submit your answers once and this is the response that will be entered into the Teacher’s results area if you are part of an online class.
No. The Question Bank can be used as a self-study product, so you don’t need to be in a class to use it.
If you are part of a class, you will be able to do questions from the bank as your teacher assigns them to you or access the bank on your own and decide what you want to practice.

Through the link you will be asked to create and account or sign in to a Pearson English Preparation (PEP) account. You will then be taken to a page where you will need to add your Product Access Code
After a couple of further clicks you will then be able to access your Official Guide product
To re-access the Official Guide from your PEP account:
Sign in to your PEP account with your username and password
Click on the Official Guide on your dashboard and choose what you want to do from the main menu
Student access expires 24 months (two years) after the access code is activated.
Teacher access expires 36 months (three years) after the access code is activated.

About the Question Bank for PTE Academic and PTE Core
The Question Bank is a self-study product designed to help you try task types from the test with new, authentic content.
Question Bank is available for:
The Question Bank includes 340 new and authentic test questions, across all of the task types in either PTE Academic or PTE Core. Test takers can practice their skills and check tips and sample answers as they study.
No, this is a different question bank to the one included in the Official Guide packages.
The 300 questions in this bank are completely different to the 300 questions in the Official Guide Question Bank.
The tasks in the bank are not currently scored. However, you can check if your answers are correct or incorrect and compare sample answers to your own responses to speaking and writing questions.

Accessing your account
Access codes are six “words” long and the format should look like this: XXXXXX-XXXX-XXXXX-XXXX-XXXXX-XXXX
You need to enter the dashes as you redeem your access code.
Each access code can only be used once when you register. The access code is only needed to activate your product. It is not needed to sign in.

Registration issues
If you know your email address, you can reset your password with the use of the Forgot your password? link on the login page
You will then receive an email, which will enable you to reset your password.
If you have more than one account linked to the email address, you will be able to choose the one to which you have forgotten the password.
If you cannot remember your email address or continue to have issues, please get in touch via our Customer Support form.
Check your email account’s Spam or Junk folder.
Please double check your email address when registering. If you have made a mistake in your email address, you will not receive an email with a link verifying your account. Try to repeat the process of registration.
You may also go to Your Account and select Verify Email Address to receive an email with a new link.
Please note that your username can contain only lowercase letters, numbers, at signs (@), underscores (_), dots (.) and dashes (-).

Payment issues
First, clear your cache and cookies, and open a new browser. Please make sure you remove the website link from your favourites and access the website from your browser directly. Please also make sure you entered all the requested information for a purchase.
