Prepare for PTE Academic & UKVI

You can prepare for PTE Academic by practicing test questions, becoming familiar with the test format, and improving your English skills. Using official preparation materials and mock tests can help you understand how the test and scoring work, and build your confidence. 

Common preparation methods include: 

• Getting familiar and comfortable with the test format 

• Using official PTE preparation materials, such as our Scored Practice Tests 

• Improving your speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills

The time needed to prepare for PTE Academic varies depending on your current English level, your target level, and how familiar you are with the test format.  

Many candidates prepare for 2 to 4 weeks, although some may need more or less time. 

Preparation time often depends on: 

• Your current English proficiency 

• Whether you have taken similar tests before 

• How much daily practice time you can dedicate
