PTE Security and Biometrics Data

Test centers use CCTV to monitor possible infringements and manage the security of the building. 

Data may be shared with government authorities or higher education institutions that are processing an application you have submitted to them that includes PTE results, or that you have nominated as a recipient of your test scores.

On the day of the test, we will take: 

• Your photograph 

• Your signature 

• A scan of your palm vein pattern 

• A spoken personal introduction at the start of the test (for certain PTE tests) 

We may take a copy of the identification document (ID) you present at the test center.
