PTE Account Creation Rules
To create a myPTE account, you will need to enter your personal details. Make sure your details exactly match your valid passport. You will need to present your passport at the test center when you take your test. If your account details do not match your passport, you will not be allowed to take the test and will not be eligible for a refund.
Enter your names (including middle names) in the ‘Given name(s)’ field. Enter your surname or family name in the ‘Surname’ field.
If your ID document does not include a surname or family name enter a full stop (.) in the ‘Surname’ field.
Use Roman characters throughout.
Remember to use a valid email address.
If you are asked to provide your country of citizenship, this is the country that is printed on your passport. Your country of residence is where you live now. They may both be the same.
