Which PTE Home test do I need for my UK visa?
The PTE Home test you need depends on the English level required for your visa route.
UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) sets the CEFR level required for each visa type and stage, and PTE Home tests are designed and approved to meet those levels:
PTE Home A1
Meets the CEFR A1 requirement for joining a spouse or family member for the first time.PTE Home A2
Meets the CEFR A2 requirement for extending a family visa after 2.5 years in the UK.PTE Home B1
