The two-hour test center PTE Academic exam is here!
From Tuesday, November 16, all candidates either booking or taking PTE Academic in a test center are now only required to sit a two-hour test – a reduction of one hour on the previous three-hour test.
You can rest assured there are no changes to the overall format, question types, or scoring scale. There are simply fewer questions – allowing candidates to prepare in the same way. Check out our latest practice materials.
Most importantly, the shorter PTE Academic test is still accepted by the same universities and professional bodies, including more than 3,000 academic institutions worldwide, and by the governments of Australia, the UK, and New Zealand for visa and immigration purposes.
We are in the final stages of getting ready to launch PTE Academic Online. The test is coming soon and we will keep you updated when we open for bookings and confirm the start date.
Exactly the same test as PTE Academic, PTE Academic Online is a new online proctored option for people who prefer to sit the test remotely, from the comfort of their own home.
