Launching in October 2009, PTE Academic is a new academic computer-based international English language test, designed to measure your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, as they are used in academic settings.

Flexibility

You will have the flexibility to take the test on your terms.

• register and schedule your test online, at a time that suits you
• take the test in one of Pearson VUE’s global network of secure test centers
• take the entire test in one sitting, normally in under 3 hours

Confidence

You will be confident that you have the best measure of your actual language ability.

• use dedicated online practice material and get a same-day measure of your ability by using a fully-scored and complete online practice test
• view model answers with and un-scored complete online practice test
• test uses real-life material from a variety of academic contexts and topics

Options

You will be able to decide what to do with your scores and when.

• scores will be delivered online, directly to you, normally in up to 5 days
• unlimited score reports included in the fee
• you designate where you want to send your scores, after you receive them
