Henry Tolley has been appointed UK Director for Pearson's Language Testing division where he oversees the UK sales division for the computer-based English language test, PTE Academic.
Henry joins Pearson from Cambridge ESOL where he worked as the Regional Development Manager, UK and Ireland. One of his primary responsibilities at Cambridge ESOL was to increase sales and test availability, especially over the summer period.
Prior to that he was Sales Manager for Western Europe for Marshall Cavendish and Summertown (now Heinle) and Sales Manager for Pearson in Italy, where he worked for nine years. Henry was also Professor of English at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where he was responsible for creating their English language assessment and placement testing service. Henry has worked in English language teaching since 1993 in Hungary, Spain, and Italy.
