Pearson is pleased to announce that LSBF is opening two new test centers to deliver Pearson’s Secure English Language Test, PTE Academic.
LSBF has made a significant investment in the test centers, which are based in London and Birmingham and will be open to the public as well as LSBF applicants. It is expected that the first test center will open in London in September 2011. The test centers have been designed to meet Pearson’s stringent security measures which ensure the integrity of the testing process for PTE Academic.
Teresa Jacobs, Director of Quality Assurance at LSBF, said “LSBF is very pleased to be opening these new test centers on our campuses in London and Birmingham. The on-site centers will make testing much more convenient for our students, across all our Professional, Business and English programs. LSBF prides itself on innovation and we feel that PTE Academic is an innovative test that meets the security requirements of the regulators while giving the speedy result valued by test takers. We also value the fact that PTE Academic is a test, not an Academic English syllabus – giving us more freedom to teach students what they actually need to know rather than what they need to just pass a test. We hope that the test centers in convenient central locations in London and Birmingham will encourage students to visit LSBF for their tests and find out more about our school.”
