Taking a scored practice test 

You can only take the scored practice test once. You must take it within 28 days of purchasing it.

There are two different scored practice tests, so you can always try the other if you want to take a second one.

Yes. You can stop, save your responses and then return to complete the test later. However, we recommend completing the scored practice test in a single three-hour sitting in order to best replicate the actual test conditions.
The scored practice tests are full-length tests which replicate the actual PTE Academic test.  They include all sections and item types contained in the actual test.
No. Your test will be scored once you have completed it. We usually return test scores on the same day the test is taken.
No. As in the actual PTE Academic test, you can only go forward through the test. Once you have completed an item and clicked Next, you cannot go back to that item.
 Yes. If you exceed the time limit on any item then the test will automatically move to the next item.
Most test scores are returned on the same day - often within 20 minutes.

In order to ensure the scored practice test represents the actual test conditions as closely as possible, try to ensure your concentration is not disturbed and that you only take a single, short break.

Disturbances can affect your test score. You will see a message to remind you about this when you submit your answers.

The scored practice tests use the same scoring rules as the actual PTE Academic test.
No. Your answers are saved as you go. You will be able to return to complete the test from where you left off.
