Taking the online unscored practice test 

How long do I have to take the test?
You must take the unscored test within 28 days of purchasing it.
How many times can I take the test?
You can take the unscored test as many times as you like during the 28 days after you purchase it.
Can I stop during the test and finish it later?
Yes. You can stop during the test, save everything and come back later to complete it.
How similar is the unscored test to the actual PTE Academic test?
The unscored practice test is a full-length test and very similar to the actual PTE Academic test. It includes all the sections and question types contained in the actual test, although it is not timed and you can move backward and forward through the questions.
Can I check my answers during the test?
Yes. You can see the correct answer or sample response to a question at any time during the test. Where these are example spoken or written answers you will also see examiners’ comments.
Can I go back to items I have already answered during the test?
Yes. You can step backward and forward through the unscored test as you wish.
Is the test timed?
No, the unscored practice test is not timed.
My computer crashed during the unscored test. Have I lost the work I have done?
No. Your answers will be saved as you go. You will be able to return to complete the test, though you will have to step through from the start.
